I write, work and live in the mountains of Western Colorado with my husband and two daughters.  I earned my MFA  in creative writing at the University of Idaho, were I won an AWP award for fiction. I have published in magazines ranging from Shenandoa to Backcountry.

I teach Environmental Writing at Western State Colorado University and English as a Second Language at the Center for Adult and Family Education.

My current project, “City of a Thousand Paths,” represented by Folio Literary Management, tells a story of a girl, anger, violins, magic, and Milonia, city of a million paths.
